COATES & Corks Wine Festival Fundraiser Returns This August

It’s that time of year again! COATES Inc. is preparing for our 2nd Annual COATES & Corks Wine Festival, an event you won’t want to miss. Join us on August 15 from 3–7 p.m. for an afternoon of wine, music, community, and purpose.

COATES & Corks brings together mission-aligned businesses, community leaders, and supporters who believe in expanding college and career access for students across Northwest Indiana. After the success of last year’s inaugural festival, we’re thinking bigger.

Investing in Students and the Community

This event gives members of our community the opportunity to do more than support a great cause: it allows them to invest directly in the future of our students while enjoying an unforgettable experience. Through mutually beneficial partnerships with small businesses, COATES & Corks helps strengthen the Gary community by creating lasting relationships between local leaders, organizations, and entrepreneurs.

COATES & Corks is open to all. Whether you’re passionate about education, love supporting local businesses, enjoy wine and live music, or are simply looking for a great way to spend a summer afternoon, this festival has something for you.

Wine, Community, and Celebration

Of course, no wine festival would be complete without exceptional wine. Last year, several wineries contributed refined selections for guests to enjoy. This August, we plan to welcome 10–12 wineries, offering a diverse and sophisticated tasting experience for attendees.

And if you discover a favorite, you’re in luck! Bottles will also be available for purchase so you can take a taste of the festival home with you.

Local businesses are the backbone of our community, helping Gary thrive through their dedication and creativity. COATES & Corks celebrates these businesses in a meaningful way. Rather than focusing solely on sponsorships, we emphasize lasting partnerships.
