Coates Inc. is proud to have been recognized with the Purdue Innovators Award in 2023 for its groundbreaking work with the Coates Inc. College & Career Mobile—a transformative initiative designed to bring college and career resources directly to students.
The award, presented by the Society of Innovators at Purdue Northwest, recognizes organizations that develop solutions with meaningful community impact and measurable value. Coates Inc. was selected as a team inductee for its innovative approach to increasing access to college and career readiness support.

The College & Career Mobile was created to address a critical gap: access. For many students—especially in underserved communities—navigating college applications, financial aid, and career pathways can feel overwhelming without the right support. Coates Inc. responded by taking those resources directly into communities through a mobile unit that meets students where they are.
In fact, the College & Career Mobile is a one-of-a-kind resource center on wheels, providing everything from FAFSA assistance to career exploration and advising. This innovative model removes barriers like transportation, technology access, and scheduling—ensuring students and families can receive support when and where they need it most.
